A few words about this artist
Duo Nocturne was founded by Smerald who is the 1st concertino (first violinist) of the Balearic Symphony Orchestra. He began playing violin at the age of 6 and studied classical violin at various academies throughout Europe, Albania, Italy and Austria. His early classical training derives from traditional Russian teaching methods, though later in Italy, Smerald specialised in broadening his repertoire and musical interpretation skills. Mozart is one of his favourite composers and he also enjoys to play scores by Brahms. This talented violinist currently works on a diverse range of projects focusing on different styles of music including, classical, tangos, rumbas, baroque, 50s/60s Americana and Cine Paradiso (a repertoire compiled from various film scores).
