LuGotti is a breathtaking saxophonist who challenges the traditional conventions of his chosen instrument. His innovative concept fuses the galvanising rhythms of electronic music with a contemporary twist on Funk and Jazz Sax. Whether performing in an intimate venue or holding down his current residencies, at the Hard Rock Cafe and Ushuaia in Ibiza, the seasoned Spaniard delivers a unique experience that is unquestionably unrivalled. Hailing from Leon in the northern sectors of Spain, LuGotti first laid hands on brass at the tender age of 12. Fuelled by his Fathers passion, he immersed himself in the study of music graduating at credited institutions such as the Provincial Conservatory of Music of León and Creative Music School of Madrid. In 2002, his great potential became apparent when, in the wake of an audition in Barcelona, he was awarded a scholarship to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston (Massachusetts, USA). Subsequently, the development of Lu's extraordinary technique and musical vocabulary did not go unnoticed. Over the course of the following years, he became involved in several diverse projects and collaborations with a compelling array of eminent musicians. Some of these highlights included recording albums with 'The Funk On Me' and touring with the likes of B.B King and Maceo Parker where he earned the title 'The Spanish promise of Funk. In the present day, LuGotti is internationally recognised as one of the most accomplished and gifted House and Funk saxophonists. His accolades stretch as far and wide as the Cavalli Club Dubai to the likes of Ministry of Sound and Pacha in London; to name only a few. In his time he has collaborated with prolific DJs such as Junior Jack, Kid Creme, Wally Lopez and Grant Nelson among many others. LuGotti’s fluid balance of professionalism, uniqueness and authenticity has made him an undeniable crowd pleaser among all ages.
